Rocker Nick Oliveri Arrested After Standoff With SWAT Team

Former “Queens of the Stone Age” singer and bassist Nick Oliveri has been arrested after a stand-off with authorities.

Nick Oliveri’s neighbor phoned police after hearing a loud argument between the rocker and his live-in girlfriend.

Sources said Oliveri was actually holding his girlfriend hostage. Oliveri was arrested after a two-hour standoff with the SWAT team.

The scary situation ended after Los Angeles police officers knocked down his front door and he was taken into custody at around 10:30 p.m.

Nick’s girlfriend told police that Nick assaulted her during a disagreement the previous day. She had returned to collect her things to move out of the home when things became ugly.

Police responded to the incident but the former Queens of the Stone Age star refused to allow them into his home.
