Former CHIPS Star Larry Wilcox Sentenced For Fraud
The former star of “CHIPS” was sentenced to three years of probation and 500 hours of community service.
Larry Wilcox pleaded guilty in November to one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud. The former actor faced up to five years in jail.
Prosecutors recommended only one year in jail because Wilcox had aided in arrested others involved in fraud.
But Judge James I. Cohn did not give him jail time because of the considerable amount of community service he had provided in the past.
